SRAII (Safe and Reliable AI and the Internet) is an NSF-supported Research Experience of Undergraduates (REU) Program hosted at USC’s Information Sciences Institute
SRAII focuses on supporting Safe and Reliable AI and the Internet.
ISI’s REU program has been active since 2018 and has supported 64 undergraduate students from the U.S. In a number of cases they have seen their work published in peer-reviewed venues.
We are grateful to NSF CISE for their generous support of this program via awards #1659886 (our first Networking/AI REU program, cohorts from 2018-2020), #2051101 (SURF-I: Safe, Usable, Reliable and Fair Internet, cohorts from 2021-2023), and #2447729 (SRAII, first cohort summer 2026).
